LiveSTRONG Event at Clear Creek

Play in the LiveSTRONG event at Clear Creek Golf Club on Tuesday, June 22nd at 10am. Cost is $100 per player with $75 of that going to LiveSTRONG. Other Eagle Golf courses around the country are also participating and it should be the largest shotgun tourament in history, hopefully making it into the Guinness Book of World Records.

2010 Carol Mann LPGA Players Invitational

The 2010 Carol Mann LPGA Players Invitational FORE! The Women’s Home is scheduled for April 12, 2010, at BlackHorse Golf Club. Carol Mann, a World Golf Hall of Fame member and past LPGA national president, was drawn to headline the tournament because of The Women’s Home’s unique and uniquely successful program.  She is a World Golf Hall of Fame member with 38 LPGA titles to her name and other numerous awards for her contribution to the game.

The Women’s Home is an organization helping women in crisis regain their self-esteem and dignity, empowering them to return to society as productive, self-sufficient individuals.

Keep Kids in School Tourney

“Keep Kids in School” is a mission for Communities In School-Bay Area (CISBA) and also the name of the group’s fund-raising golf tournament to be held April 12 at Bay Oaks Country Club. Golfers will play a round at the tournament and help fund a proven dropout prevention program – CISBA – serving 15 campuses in the Clear Creek and Dickinson Independent School Districts.

“This is CISBA‘s first golf tournament and we wanted every person involved to have a great time and to raise money to help these kids. A great golf format, five opportunities to win a car, wonderful food and extraordinary live auction items. Everyone involved is very excited about this being a major fundraising event which we think will be a record breaker in the Bay Area. Come out and join us on April 12 at Bay Oaks Country Club,” says Rick Gornto, chairman of the Keep Kids in School Golf Tournament.
