Shell Houston Open – It’s Here!
You can’t believe how excited I am about the Shell Houston Open. I’ve never been to a PGA event before, so this will be my first time. I’m going with my buddy on Friday morning (after we squeeze in a round ourselves).
My friend recently went to another PGA event last year and said it’s amazing how far the PGA professionals hit the ball.
I’m super lucky this year because there are some big names playing, like:
- Mr. Super Hot (not how he looks, but how he’s been playing the last two weeks) Ernie Els
- A not so hot Phil (I think his nickname used to be FIGJAM)
- An on-fire Fred Couples (3 in a row, hello Champions Tour!)
- Padraig (distant relative to former NFL QB Joey) Harrington
- Y.E. Yang – the Tiger Tamer [insert other Tiger joke here]
The only thing I’m bummed out about is, according to the website rules, I can’t bring my camera to take any pictures. I’d love to have pictures for my site. Guess I’ll have to wait until I can qualify for a legitimate media pass (maybe next year).
