The best thing about Bear Creek is that it opened-and as a result ushered in a new era of golf in Houston. Bear Creek was the first daily fee course in the area that was not run by a municipality. Since the original course opened 25 years ago, two more courses have been added.
The best of the courses at Bear Creek is the Master’s Course, which has long been regarded as one of the finest public facilities in the country. In fact, “Golf Digest” rated it as one of the top 50 courses in the country.
The course is mostly straight and long with narrow fairways. Highlights include No. 6, a 557-yard par 5, and the par 4 ninth: there are two water hazards, and the green is guarded by multiple sand traps.
Our Banquet/Meeting room is a great place to meet before or after your golf game. It seats 35 and overlooks the golf course. We can cater breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Room rental is $75/hour or $350 for the day. Please contact Neil Sherrod at 281-859-8188 for more information.

- Access to other Houston owned public courses during Player’s Club late afternoon times. Times and fees vary by each club.
- This membership does Not include range privileges or weekly complimentary golf instruction.
- Players Club Corner with the ability to purchase select merchandise at Club cost.
- USGA handicap service through our selected handicap system
