Trivia Contest – April 2010 – Part 2

This contest is closed.  The winner was Glen Jaquay from Katy, TX.  He won a free 4some at Bear Creek Golf World.  The correct answer is “C” and the explanation is here.

Houston Golf Nut has another Trivia Contest for April. In the Verizon Heritage PGA tournament over the weekend, Jim Furyk won in a playoff when his opponent, Brian Davis, conceded the first playoff hole after a self-called rules violation. In the spirit of understanding the Rules of Golf, here is a multiple choice trivia question:

Through the green, the player may lift his ball without penalty in which one of the following?

(a) Another ball in motion, might be stopped or deflected by his ball.
(b) The player thinks his ball will interfere with another player’s play.
(c) The player thinks his ball will assist another player’s play.
(d) The player is never entitled to lift his ball without penalty when it lies through the green.

This contest prize: Free Golf for 4some at Bear Creek Golf World

Out of all the correct answers, there will be a random drawing to select the winner.
